Weis Buy People
Chuck Weisinger is the
CEO and principal officer of Weis-Buy Farms ,inc. It is his
foresight that has made a back bedroom hobby into one of the
most highly respected, and successful full-service produce
companies in existence today.
Jo Rice, Weis-Buy’s on
staff legal liaison with PACA brings her 19 years of produce
experience to Weisbuy. Formerly executive head of a trucking
company, Jolene is articulate with the financial and legal
inner workings of Weis-Buy.
Mark Weisinger brings
the retail history of big business to the Weis-Buy family
and sixteen years of experience in the produce business to
his resume. He was initially involved with the east coast
division of Weis-Buy importing melons from Guatemala, and
later involved with Weis-Buys repack operation in Atlanta,
GA. He is currently in the Ft. Myers office.
Arthur Ellis who has grown
up in the Farming business and was involved in both trucking
and agriculture for many years before he was involved with
Weis-Buy lends a special touch to our sales expertise.
Michael Shapiro has
been with Weis-Buy for several years. He is a member of the
PMA government affairs committee. Mike travels to Nogales,
Arizona each year to build our relationships with shippers
helping Weis-Buy deliver good produce at low prices to our
customers.
Jack Tuten is from a
4th generation Florida farm family. Jack grew up in
Immokalee, Florida. He spent 5 years working with citrus and
the past 15 years specializing in tomatoes, peppers, beans,
corn, strawberries, squash and hot peppers. In the Dominican
Republic Jack has been an owner/operator of open field and
hot house growing operations.
Paul Boris began his
produce career as a shipping clerk for his father's company
more than 30 years ago. It was one of the leading Florida
vegetable shippers at that time. He later worked as a truck
stacker, packer, sales manager, general manager and company
president. Paul has a diverse background in all aspects of
produce. He works in our Florida east coast office.
